Virginia’s Beach is located off Route 5, 20 miles west of the City of Erie. From I-90 Exit 6, take Route 215 North for 4.2 miles, cross Route 5 to Holliday Road, follow signs for 1.3 miles. You may also reference the interactive Google Map, below. Our main attraction is unquestionably the Lake, and our unique lakefront atmosphere. If your interests extend beyond water sports, fishing, and relaxing on the lakefront, there is plenty to do in the nearby vicinity. Additional attractions include, golf on two nearby courses, auto racing at Lake Erie Speedway and Raceway 7, Presque Isle State Park, Erie Bluffs State Park, Waldameer Amusement Park, Water World Water Park, Erie Seawolves baseball, Presque Isle Downs and Casino, and more! Local Area Attractions

Erie Bluffs State Park
The newest Pennsylvania State Park is Erie Bluffs, 587 acres along the Lake Erie shoreline in western Erie County, twelve miles west of the city of Erie. It is the largest undeveloped stretch of Lake Erie shoreline remaining in Pennsylvania.
Presque Isle State Park
Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania’s only “seashore”, Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities to include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling and in-line skating.
U.S. Navy Brig Niagara
The U.S. Brig Niagara is a wooden-hulled brig that served as the relief flagship for Oliver Hazard Perry in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Niagara is one of the last remaining ships from the War of 1812.
Presque Isle Downs and Casino
Presque Isle Downs & Casino, located in Erie is northern Pennsylvania’s premiere gambling destination and racetrack featuring more than 1,700 fun and exciting games such as Bally Quick Hits, Wheel of Fortune, Wizard of Oz and many more of your favorite slot machine themes.
Waldameer Amusement Park & Water World Water Park
Waldameer Park and Water World is an amusement / water park in Erie is located at the base of Presque Isle. Waldameer is the fourth oldest amusement park in Pennsylvania, and the tenth oldest in the United States.
Raceway 7 Speedway
Raceway 7 is a 7/16 mile semi-banked dirt oval stock car track that races every Friday night from May until September with racing at 7:30PM.
Erie Zoo
The Erie Zoo has more than 400 animals, while the botanical gardens and greenhouse have over 600 species of plants from around the world. The zoo, which operates from March to November attracts more than 400,000 annual visitors.
Lake Erie Speedway
Lake Erie Speedway is a 3/8 mile paved, banked oval race track which opened on June 21, 2002 in Erie County. It is also a member of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
Erie Seawolves Baseball
The Erie SeaWolves are an American professional baseball team based in Erie. They are a member of the Western Division of Minor League Baseball’s Eastern League, and the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
Erie Playhouse
The stars shine bright over the Erie Playhouse, one of the oldest and largest community theatres in the nation. Recognized as one of the 10 best community theatres in national competition, it remains at the forefront of the arts not only in Northwest Pennsylvania, but the entire state.
Battles Museum of Rural Life
Recreate 19th century agricultural life in Northwestern Pennsylvania with this 1858 farmhouse and mid 20th century life with this 1861 family residence, complete with woods, trails, and farmland.

Annual D-Day Re-enactment (August)
Since 1999 this annual recreation of the amphibious Allied landings upon the beaches of Normandy, France has thrilled thousands of spectators. The event assembles over 1,200 re-enactors from across the United States and Canada.
Wild Rib Cookoff (June)
Yes! It's all about the BBQ at the annual Erie’s Wild Rib Cook Off & Music Festival in Erie. Family fun in a community setting!
CelebrateErie Festival (August)

Albion Area Fair (September)
